   Raffles Implementation Methodology

Raffles Implementation Methodology is a tool developed by Raffles Consulting group to meet the needs of a Raffles Business Consultant when installing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV at customer site. The purpose of this Methodology is to provide sufficient knowledge for a Raffles Business consultant to make use of the best practices in implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and tools available within Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV.

Raffles Implementation Methodology is divided into six (6) Phases, each with given, comprehensive output documentation to the client.

The Project Planning Phase marks the official start of the project. Our team will initiate the project with synchronizing overall objectives, business requirements and schedules with the client representative. Thereafter, a detailed Project Plan will be crafted for presentation during the Kick-off Meeting. During this event, the entire project is presented to top management of the client, in relation to the business objectives stated.

The Blueprinting Phase will see a detailed analysis of each business requirement, current pains and business process. The resulting Gap Analysis will form part of the solution plan which precedes the final design of the system.

The Development Phase is going into detail with the findings from the Business Blueprint phase and creation of customer specific requirements.

The Deployment Phase includes the actual installation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to the client’s specifications. During this phase, Raffles Solutions will also deliver comprehensive end-user training in NAV. The training program is broken down per process and module, to maximize the learning experience. User-manuals and exams are part of the training to make sure of quality.

The Operations and GO-LIVE Phase serves as a period of validation, where the system goes through a number of tests to safeguard all specifications has been implemented correctly. The client will also have an opportunity to test-run the system at its full potential in a safe environment. Go-live is defined as the time the client can rely in Microsoft Dynamics NAV completely to record all transactions and provide the right reports. At this point, any legacy systems are cut off production. Raffles Solutions’ consultants are trained to provide the right support during this critical period.

The Post Implementation Phase gives support to customer during their initial phase of operations using Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Here assistance is given to customer during their first month-end closing, support plan structures, and assistance during financial compliant audit.
